President Muhammadu Buhari, has asked the senate to confirm his reappointment of two deputy Governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
They are; Mrs. Aisha Ndanusa Ahmad, & Mr. Edward Adamu, whose appointments are for a second and final tenure.
President Buhari’s request was contained in a letter to the senate which was read on Tuesday by Senator Ahmad Lawan, President of the Nigerian senate.
The President is also requesting the senate to confirm his appointment of Ambassador Ayuba Jacob Ngbako, as a member of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission RMAFC, representing the FCT.
2023 FCT Budget
Apart from these appointments, President Buhari has also forwarded to the senate, the 2023 Appropriation Bill of the FCT for consideration & passage. Senate is expected to reconvene in plenary this Wednesday.
