President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday received the Covid-19 vaccine at the State House, Abuja.
First to get the vaccine was President Buhari who was injected the vaccine on his upper right arm by his personal physician Dr. Shuaibu Rafindadi Sanusi.
Dr. Sanusi said 0.5ml of the Astra Zeneca vaccine was given to the president.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was given the vaccine by his personal physician, Dr. Nicholas Audiferren.
He received the vaccine on his upper left arm.
Both the president and the vice president were issued by the e-vaccination cards by the Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, NPHDA, Dr. Faisal Shuaib.
