Chief of Staff to the President, C-in-C, Federal Republic of Nigeria Prof Amb Ibrahim A. Gambari, CFR has felicitated with Alhaji Dr Yahaya Abubakar, CFR, The Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Traditional Council on his 69th birthday.
The Chief of Staff described the occasion as a special one as it also marks the Etsu Nupe’s 18th year on the throne.
Gambari noted that “his exemplary leadership is clearly demonstrable with such amazing grace and candour”.
He said the Etsu Nupe demonstrates “supreme confidence and dedicated followership which is evident in your being saddled with such high level responsibilities particularly as Chairman, Niger State Traditional Council in the last 18 years, cultural revolution and unity of purpose among the entire Nupe Kingdom. Furthermore, on the national stage, you serve variously as the Coordinating Chairman, National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, two – term Chancellor of the Prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Chancellor, Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma among several other patriotic activities, personal commitment to national aspirations as well as giving unequalled counsel on national affairs”.
He prayed that the Almighty Allah grants the Etsu Nupe good health and long life to witness many more celebrations.
The Chief of Staff used the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to the traditional ruler for his huge support him and the Administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and unflinching loyalty to the nation.
