The traditional title of “Dan Massanin Kazaure,” has been conferred on President Muhammadu Buhari’s Protocol Chief, Ambassador Lawal Kazaure at the Palace of Emir of Kazaure in Jigawa State, North West Nigeria
The Emir of Kazaure, Hussaini Adamu on Friday explained that the title was given to the State Chief of Protocol because of the numerous acts of philanthropy he has been performing in the Emirate.
According to the traditional ruler, Ambassador Kazaure had been engaged in matters that promote the well-being of the people, including the sinking of boreholes for the people to have water, assisting the youth to get jobs and building a youth centre to enable the youths to explore their talents in sports.
“Many times, people would approach him to favour him in one thing or the other, but what Lawal does is to direct those favours to the cause of the people,” the Emir said.
In his response, Ambassador Kazaure, while expressing gratitude to the vice president and others for attending the event; promised “To remain steadfast and sincere” in what he does for the people of the Kazaure Emirate.
At the event was Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo who was joined by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, Governors Badaru Abubakar, Aminu Masari and Abdullahi Ganduje of Jigawa, Katsina and Kano states respectively.
