President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Jibrin Baba Ndace as the new Chief Executive Officer of Voice of Nigeria (VON).
Mr. Ndace is to replace the Director General of Voice of Nigeria, Mr. Osita Okechukwu who Headed the Corporation in the last seven years.
The President also re-appointed the Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority, Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos for a fresh term in office.
Six others were equally appointed as the new Chief Executive Officers for Parastatals and Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.
They are Mr. Lanre Issa-Onilu, as Director-General / CEO National Orientation Agency (NOA); Dr. Muhammed Bulama to head Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN); Mr. Charles Ebuebu as Director-General / CEO, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC); Dr. Lekan Fadolapo as Director-General / CEO,Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON); Mr. Ali Muhammed Ali as Managing Director / CEO News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) and Mr. Dili Ezughah as Executive Secretary / CEO, Nigerian Press Council (NPC)
These were made known on Thursday in a directive issued and signed by the President’s Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale.
The President tasked the newly entrusted leadership in Information sub sub-sectors to innovate and create new opportunities for Nigerians to leverage upon through the effective reform of these key institutions of government which functions to unify the Nigerian people, reshape mindsets, and showcase Nigeria to the rest of the world.
The newly appointed Director General for Voice of Nigeria, Jubrin Baba Ndace, is an award-winning Journalist, Security expert and a renowned name in the Nigerian Security sector.
Ndace served as Chief Press Secretary to Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, Between 2015-2019.
He is also a PR Specialist, Public Speaker, Peace Advocate, Anchor and more.
