President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal for his years of dedicated service to Sokoto State and the nation as the lawmaker marks his 60th birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued by the Presidential spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, the President lauded the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator for his notable contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey, recalling his tenure as Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015 and his two terms as Governor of Sokoto State between 2015 and 2023.
President Tinubu described Senator Tambuwal as a prominent politician and seasoned lawyer whose public career reflects commitment to nation-building and responsible leadership.
He also highlighted the lawmaker’s dedication to advancing democracy and strengthening governance in the country.
The President wished Senator Tambuwal many more years of good health and an even brighter political future as he continues to serve Nigeria.
