President Bola Tinubu has extended his warmest felicitations to the former Chief Executive Officer of Cadbury Nigeria, Mr Bunmi Oni on his 70th birthday.
The President expressed his delight to join many well-wishers of the celebrants on the occasion of his milestone birthday.
In a message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, President Tinubu noted that Mr Oni’s impressive 29-year corporate career, culminating in 11 years as the Chief Executive Officer of Cadbury Nigeria Plc, “stands as a testament to his exemplary leadership, innovative thinking, and unwavering dedication.”
The President acknowledged Mr. Oni’s dynamic and versatile capabilities, which he said were evidenced through his diverse roles in various board-level executive positions across several departments, including Technical Support, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Sales and marketing, and Corporate Planning.
President Tinubu recalled that during his tenure as CEO, Oni concurrently oversaw “the West Africa operations of the company for five years, contributing significantly to its expansion and establishment in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire.”
“His exceptional leadership was recognised when he was voted Nigeria’s Most Respected CEO in 2005,” he said.
“As family and friends honour Bunmi Oni on this special occasion, President Tinubu extended his best wishes for his continued health and happiness, eagerly anticipating the inspiring chapters he will continue to write in the book of life,” the statement added.
