President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, for his ongoing efforts to reposition the Solid minerals sector as a major revenue driver for the nation.
President Tinubu praised Alake’s initiatives in policy innovation, investment promotion, and the integration of artisanal miners into the formal economy.
He noted that “such reforms are vital to unlocking the full potential of Nigeria’s mineral resources.”

In a congratulatory message on Alake’s 69th Birthday, the President warmly felicitated his long-time ally and described the Minister as a dependable ally.
He also described him as a consummate strategist, an outstanding journalist, and an accomplished public servant whose commitment to national development and good governance remains unwavering over decades.
The Nigerian Leader recalled Alake’s long years of friendship and partnership with the celebrant, noting his exceptional public communication and national development service.
