Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State, on a one-day working visit.
President Tinubu is in Lafia to commission some legacy projects carried out by the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule.
The President arrived in Lafia Airport at 1:55 pm today, Wednesday, via Nigeria Air Force 5N-FGT 001 and was received by Governor Abdullahi Sule alongside critical stakeholders of the State, as well as other State Governors.
Lafia city is wearing a new look with beautiful paintings, pictures, banners, and other side attractions.
Similarly, students and other citizens with uniforms and different attires were seen along major streets and roads the President is passing through to give him a rousing welcome.
The President is accompanied by the APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Governors of Niger, Benue, Kwara, Kaduna, Imo, Ogun and Barno States, Ministers, Senators among others.
It was reported that on arrival at the airport, the President inspected a Guard of Honor.
