President Tinubu Pushes For Effective Security Operations

The Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for greater efficiency in operational strategies and improved outcomes in the ongoing fight against insecurity across parts of the country.

President Tinubu issued the directive during a closed-door meeting with the heads of intelligence agencies and the nation’s service chiefs at the State House, Abuja, on Tuesday.

The session, which lasted for over an hour, focused on strengthening coordination and refining tactical responses to emerging security threats.

Briefing journalists after the meeting, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, described the engagement “as productive, noting that “the President provided fresh guidance and directives aimed at delivering stronger results in the security operations underway nationwide.”

General Oluyede assured Nigerians that security agencies are intensifying collaboration to ensure a peaceful and safe yuletide season for all citizens
