President Tinubu Schedules second FEC Meeting for Monday, October 16

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu will on Monday, October 16th convene the second meeting of his administration’s Federal Executive Council, which comes 44 days after the first session.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale confirmed this to Voice of Nigeria.

During the first Federal Executive Council meeting which was held on August 28th, the President informed the cabinet members about the key priorities of his administration and emphasized that there would be no tolerance for low performance.

The Federal Executive Council is a constitutional institution where government policies are discussed and endorsed by Ministers, with the President serving as the Chairman and the Vice President as the Vice Chairman.

Also, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation. Dr Betta Edu is scheduled to brief State House Correspondents on the national social register verification exercise across Nigeria.
