Red Cross, NSPHDA Commence Zero Covid-19 Sensitization in Nasarawa State.

The Nigerian Red Cross Society in Collaboration with the Primary Healthcare Development Agency have commenced the zero Covid- 19 campus sensitization in Nasarawa State.
Speaking during an advocacy visit to the management of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia, the branch Secretary of the Red cross society, Mr. Jerry Danjuma Kuje, appreciated the Primary Healthcare Development Agency, African Union and Master Card Foundation among other sponsors of the project of saving lives and livelihoods in the state.
Mr. Kuje, explained that the campus sensitization would be carried -out across higher institutions in the state.
Also speaking, the Executive Secretary, Nasarawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Mohammed Addis, said the agency would not relent in it’s effort towards saving lives, enhancing livelihoods.
Represented by Director in the Agency, Mr Awolowo Koto said, Covid-19 had scale three point zero across the state.
Responding, the Rector Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia, Dr. Justina Kotso who welcomed the red Cross Society and partners for their giant strides in saving lives of people of the state, promised to give them all the support needed.
Some of the students who received the COVID-19 vaccine Jab, Miss Mary Nuhu and Jessy Peter appreciated the Red Cross Society and partners for bringing the vaccine closer to them.
