Nigeria to host 2023 International Technology and Communications Expo

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACCI, in partnership with the Federation of West Africa Chamber of Commerce, FEWACCI, is set to host its 2023 International Technology and Communications Expo, ITEC EXPO 2023 aimed at bridging the gap between African investment prospects and international investors.

The Chairman, Local Organising Committee, Dr Johnson Anene who made the announcement during a news briefing in Abuja, stated that the Expo is  themed; “Advancing Technology & Communication for National Growth”.

Dr Anene who is also the Chairman, Abuja Trade Centre of the ACCI said the Expo is a platform for exhibitors  and participants to showcase, promote and sell their products/services, access new markets, learn new technologies, network, make new business contacts, and establish International partnerships.

He said: “From the theme you will know that the motivation behind this Expo is economic growth and wealth creation, creating wealth for the Nigerian business community and other participants and also contributing to our economic growth to build our economy.”

Dr Anene who announced that the ITEC EXPO 2023would take place at the International Conference Center, Abuja, from 27 to 29 of April 2023, also called on interested exhibitors and Nigerians to attend the expo stating that attendance is free.

“We have exhibition boots that cost N250,000 per exhibitor which business people in this particular sector can rent to be able to showcase,  promote and sell their products and sevices but participation is free so that anyone who is willing will to take advantage of the benefits that the expo will present.”

He explained that the Expo will feature Exhibition Sessions, Products Presentations, Conference & Plenary, Business to Businesses& Business to Government Meetings, March Making and Networking, CEO & Investment Forums, Training, and Mentorship.

“The conference session will bring together stakeholders in the ICT sector to brainstorm, exchange ideas and agree on the way forward to advance our method of operation by applying technology.”

“This an international exhibition and we are expecting alot of international participants from Europe, China, India and different parts of the world as they  have indicated interest to be a part of the expo”. Dr Anene said

He added that expo also seeks to train Artisans and vocational workers free of charge on how to use techology in their skills.

Products to be exhibited are; Solar Systems, Alternative and Renewable Energy Technologies, Electrical and Electronics Equipment and Appliances, Home Automation and Modern Construction Technologies, Medical Fitness and Health Technologies, Information and Communication Technologies, Security, Surveillance and Safety tools and equipment, Audio, Visual, and Entertainment Technologies and Equipment among other ICT gadgets.
