Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ enters 38th week on UK Chart

Nigerian Star Rema has continued its fine form on the UK Official Singles Chart.

Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ is charting the course for African music internationally as it continues to dominate charts in different continents in a fashion that has made it Afrobeats’ most successful international single.
In the latest installment of the UK Official Singles chart (Week 19 May 2023 – 25 May 2023) Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ is the only African song in the top 10. It appears at NO. 7 dropping two places from its NO. 5 position last week while entering its 38th week on the chart.
Libianca’s ‘People’ suffers a major nosedive as it falls to NO. 18 from its NO. 4 position last week to NO. 18 this week as it enters its 20th week.

The top six remain unchanged with Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ featuring Musa Keys retaining the NO. 2 spot, Rema’s ‘Charm’ staying at NO. 3, Adekunle Gold’s ‘Party No Dey Stop’ feat Zinoleesky retains the NO. 4 spot, Davido’s ‘Feel’ remains at NO. 5 while Asake’s ‘2:30’ stays at NO. 6.

BNXN’s ‘Pray’ debuts at NO. 7, Tiwa Savage’s ‘Stamina’ feat Ayra Starr & Young Jonn drops to NO. 8, BNXN’s ‘Gwagwalada’ feat Kizz Daniel & Seyi Vibez drops to NO. 9, and Rema’s ‘Holiday’ drops to NO. 10.
