Rivers United Football Club has confirmed the appointment of Yemi Daniel Olanrewaju as the new Chief Coach of the club.
The announcement was made on Friday, in a statement by the club.

Olanrewaju takes the place of Evans Ogenyi, who recently left the position following the expiration of his contract.
Olanrewaju, a former midfielder during his playing days, joins the club’s technical team led by Head Coach Finidi George.
His previous experience includes stints with Magate FC, Vandrezzer FC, and Enyimba International, where he served as both assistant and head coach between 2022 and 2024.
Born in Lagos, Coach Olanrewaju is expected to bring youthful energy and tactical depth as the Pride of Rivers prepares for the new season.
