Senator Egwu tasks Nigeria’s new Ambassador to Zambia on efficiency

The former Governor of Ebonyi State in South-East Nigeria, Senator Sam Egwu has charged Nigeria’s new Ambassador to Zambia, Nwannebuike Ominyi to work hard and achieve his mandate.

Sam Egwu who is also a Senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone stated this during the sent off party for the Ambassador.

He thanked Nigeria President Mohammad Buhari for approving the appointment of Nwannebuike Ominyi as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Zambia.

“I am most thankful to the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for making this appointment possible”. 

“Nwannebuike Ominyi Should know that he is now a representative of all Nigerians in Zambia and should work hard to deliver on his mandates, Egwu said.

Senator Egwu prayed for God’s mercies and wisdom upon Mr Nwannebuike Ominyi as he embarks on his new job.

Dr Egwu urged Ebonyi people to always be United irrespective of their political affiliation.

“You must always know that political parties come and go but Ebonyi remains one peaceful State, we must always be United for us to get more good things from President Mohammad Buhari,Egwu stated.

The new Ambassador to the Republic of Zambia, Mr Nwannebuike Ominyi promised to be of good behaviour, hard work and to deliver on mandates given to him.

The former Nigeria Ambassador to Korea, His Excellency, Alex Nwofe advised Ambassador Nwannebuike to be of good behaviour as he is now Nigeria Image to Zambia.

He congratulated him on his new appointment as High Commissioner to Zambia.

The South-East Zonal Chairman of People’s Democratic Party PDP, Dr Ali Odefa extolled the former Governor of the State Senator Sam Ominyi Egwu noting that the Ambassadorial position came as a result of his efforts.

The Vice-Chancellor of Coal city University, Professor  Afam Ituma advised Nwannebuike Ominyi to leave legacies worth remembering.

The Executive Director  Nigeria Television Authority, Dr Steve Ekpo, advised the new  Ambassador to perform his responsibility with diligence.

Also, Reverend Paul Onwe thanked God for the appointment of Nwannebuike Ominyi as High Commissioner to the Republic of Zambia

He encouraged him to fear God in delivering his official duty in Zambia and work in tandem with God’s plans.

“Every opportunity that God gives a man is an exam, if you pass it well, promotion follows suit,” Onwe said.

The  Ebonyi State former Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Professor John Otu said that the send-off party was to give support to Nwannebuike as he leaves for Zambia.
