Senator Urges Security Agencies To End Insecurity

The Senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial District, Senator Sam Egwu has urged Security Agencies to live up to their expectations by addressing rising Insecurity ahead of Nigeria’s general election.

In his new year message, Senator Egwu said the lives of Nigerians are more important than any other thing.

The Senator while addressing Journalists at Umuebe Izhia in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria said;

The cases of Insecurity in various parts of the country posed severe threats to the forthcoming general elections and it should not be toyed with.”

Senator Egwu who served as the first Executive Governor of Ebonyi State noted with regret that Nigerians have experienced many difficult situations under the current administration and challenged Government at all levels to come up with policies and programmes that will guarantee food security, quality and affordable education and provide jobs for teaming unemployed youths.

He called on leaders to be selfless in providing leadership to the populace.

The Lawmaker used the occasion to advise his constituents to imbibe the virtues of love, peace, unity, hard work patriotism and sincerity of purpose as the new year steps in, to collectively contribute to nation-building

He assured them of sustained quality representation at the Senate in the areas of empowerment Constituency Projects, relevant bills and motions etc.

Senator Egwu expressed the hope that the people of Ebonyi North Senatorial District would continue to support him even as he presents himself once again to represent them at the Senate in 2023 general elections.

He stressed that 2023 is promising to be a better year for Nigeria and called on all Nigerians to avoid any venture that would truncate the fortune the new year holds.
