Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda for another term as the Director-General /Chief Executive Officer of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, (SMEDAN).
A statement from the Corporate Affairs Unit of SMEDAN said the appointment was contained in a letter dated 12th March 2021 signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
The letter conveyed the reappointment of Dr. Dikko Radda as the DG of SMEDAN and wished him success in all his endeavours.
The Director-General of SMEDAN, Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda, while reacting to his reappointment via his verified twitter handle @dikko_radda, thanked President Buhari for giving him another opportunity to serve his fatherland.
All praise and gratitude be to Almighty Allah, today my tenure as the Director General of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has been extended for another five years. I am glad to have another opportunity to serve my fatherland.

He said the confidence and trust reposed in him, has indeed served as a pillar to the unprecedented success recorded in the agency in his first term in office, which lasted for five years.
His reappointment takes effect from 15th March, 2021.
