The Sokoto State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says it is fully set to participate in the forthcoming supplementary elections scheduled for Saturday April 15.
The Party also said it is optimistic of winning all the Senatorial and National Assembly seats to be contested for during the polls.
It called on all its supporters to disregard any form of intimidation from any quaters and come out en masse to vote for PDP candidates during the supplementary elections.
In a statement by the state party publicity Secretary, Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal, the party called for the provision of adequate security in all the polling units affected to ensure violence-free elections in the state.
The Party also called on political actors, general public and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials to ensure the conduct of free, fair and credible elections.
