Ese Brume (Athletics – Long Jump)
Ese Brume will be looking to go one better than her 5th place finish at the Rio Olympics when she will be competing in Group B of the Women’s Long Jump in the Olympics Stadium Track at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics by 1:50am.
The Nigerian has impressed so far and would be a strong contender for a medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
Usheoritse Itsekiri (Athletics )
Nigerian sprinter Usheoritse Itsekiri will be competing in the Men’s 100m semi-final 1 event by 11:15am on Sunday.
Itsekiri will be up against Reece Prescod (Great Britain), Gift Leotlela (South Africa) Yohan Blake (Jamaica), Andre de Grasse (Canada), Fred Kerley (USA), Jimmy Vicaut (France) and Ferdinand Omurwa (Kenya) for a place in the final.
Enoch Adegoke (Athletics- Men’s 100m)
Nigeria’s Enoch Adegoke will grace the Men’s 100m semi-final 2 event by 11:23am at the Olympics Stadium Track on Sunday as he will be hoping to make the final of the event.
Adegoke will be competing against Trayvon Bromell (USA), Oblique Seville (Jamaica), Femi Ogunode (Qatar), Rohan Browning (Australia), Zharnel Hughes (Great Britain) and Shaun Maswanganyi (South Africa).
Tobi Amusan (Women’s 100m Hurdles)
Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan will feature in the Women’s 100m Hurdles semi-final event at the Tokyo Olympics by 11:45am on Sunday as she hopes to reach the final of the event in Japan.
She will be up against Klaudia Siciarz (Poland), Asika terada (Japan), Carolina Andrea Vargas (CRC), Christina Clemons (USA), Devynne Charlton (BAH), Yanique Thompson (Jamaica) and Luca Kozak (Hungary).
