UNDP Leadership Retreat to Highlight Adaptable, Workable Solutions – Lagos State Governor

The Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu says that the ongoing United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Executive Leadership Retreat in Kigali, Rwanda, promises to highlight some of the workable solutions that could be adapted in Nigeria.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, who is both a panelist and participant at the event, said this on Friday during the 3-day retreat (24-27 August), organized by the United Nations Development Programme for Nigeria’s governors.

“The retreat promises to highlight some of the workable solutions that could be adapted in our country as we navigate through the current economic, environmental political challenges, with a primary focus on sustainable growth,” said Governor Sanwo-Olu.

Among those lined up to speak at the retreat are Governors Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State. Others are President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, former President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya, Arkebe Oqubay, the senior minister and special adviser to the prime minister of Ethiopia, among others.

The event also has in attendance an array of other State governors including Alex Otti of Abia State, Umar Bago of Niger State, Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, Umar Namadi of Jigawa State and Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, to mention but a few.
