IHP has come to the State to strengthen our health services. It is not only for our adolescents but also for our pregnant women who access their health services from antenatal to postnatal”.
Mrs Okoro added that IHP since its inception has been supporting Primary Health Centers across 171 wards in the State.
She said the program has created enough awareness in Ebonyi adolescents on how to defend themselves from Gender-Based Violence.
Two of the adolescents who participated in the program, Mr Eworo Sylvester and Miss Ike Roseline on behalf of other children numbering over 200 appreciated USAID-IHP for coming to enlighten them on how to handle their emotional behaviour, as well as how to report to the appropriate quarters each time their rights are violated.
