Vice-Chancellors Committee of Nigerian Universities appoints new Chairman

The Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities has appointed the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin in Kwara state, Professor Sulyman Age Abdulkareem as the new Chairman.

The Committee made this known in a statement signed and made available to Journalists in Abuja by its Secretary-General, Prof Yakubu Ochefu.

According to Ochefu, “The CVC unanimously during the 4th of March 2021, virtual/ physical meeting held at the Secretariat, Abuja appointed Professor Sulyman Age Abdulkareem as the committee of Vice-Chancellors of Federal Universities. and the Vice-Chancellor of University of Benin, Professor Mrs Lilian Salami was also appointed Alternate Chairperson,” he stated.
