The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, has pledged to work closely with Voice of Nigeria (VON) to promote sustainable peace and enhance national development.
The governor made the commitment during a courtesy visit by the VON management team, led by Director-General Jibrin Ndace, at the Government House in Lafia.

Governor Sule commended VON for its accurate and timely dissemination of information, describing the organisation as a strategic partner in promoting government policies and national unity. He assured the delegation of his administration’s readiness to support long-term investments and projects that would positively impact the people of the state.
Highlighting his administration’s achievements, the governor attributed the successes recorded so far to teamwork and inclusive governance. He emphasised the importance of engaging citizens before embarking on projects, noting that initiatives with direct impact on the people remain central to his government’s development agenda.

The governor also spoke about the Nasarawa State University of Public Relations, aimed at training public relations professionals to counter misinformation and manage security effectively.
VON DG Jibrin Ndace said the visit aimed to familiarise with Governor Sule and seek collaboration on information dissemination. He praised the governor’s leadership and infrastructural development in the state.

The visit underscores VON’s commitment to partnering with state governments to promote national development and peace.
