Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has congratulated the President of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Reverend Stephen Baba-Panya as he marked his sixtieth birthday
The Vice President showered encomium on the celebrant during the 60th anniversary thanksgiving service in Abuja
He described him as a man with unique and uncommon qualities which he had used to better the society.
Vice President Osinbajo who was represented by the Villa Chaplain, Reverend Seyi Malomo, said the ECWA President’s promotion in life was worthy to emulate.
He prayed to God to grant him long life and favour in all the great works he has been doing through the church for humanity and Nigeria.
The ECWA President who is also the Vice President of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN said he is a product of grace and will continue to ensure that humanity achieves both its spiritual and physical needs as Jesus Christ.
The ECWA President added that he would continue to add value to human lives, across the globe.
Reverend Baba-Panya also described the church as an inspiration where many received undeserved merit of “God’s grace” impacting the lives of people over time across the globe through its institutions.
Also in Remarks, a Paramount ruler in Nasarawa State Northcentral Nigeria, Esu of Karu, Chief Luka Panya-Baba who is a brother to the celebrant commended the ECWA President for enhancing religious activities in the family and community.
The Chief of Karu added that “He is a younger brother, religious leader and friend, he is a visionary, prayerful, dependable leader, I pray God keeps him in his vineyard.”
A United States-based clergy Reverend Timothy Cowin, prayed the Grace of God never to depart from him as he remained in Christ too.
Cowin described the president as a child of Grace, he encouraged him not to look back in serving God but be focused
Also, the Secretary General of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Mr Joseph Daramola, who represented the association described him as a man of goodwill and that “His love for the welfare of people and humanity cannot be underestimated.”
