The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), has unveiled a special phone number (0800 2255 4272) to enable Nigerians report cases of corruption by any individual, group, organization, or government establishment engaged in corrupt practices to the Commission for immediate and necessary investigation.
Unveiling the special call number in Abuja, the ICPC Spokesperson, Mrs. Azuka Ogugua, revealed that Nigerians have a role to play in the fight against corruption, urging them to join efforts with the ICPC to rid the country of corrupt practices.
She noted that it is the responsibility of individual citizens to resist, reject and report acts of corrupt practices anywhere in Nigeria.
The ICPC Spokesperson Mrs Azuka Ogugua, also revealed that the new Commission’s toll-free line was recently set up by the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Prof Bolaji Owasonoye, for ease of communication with the Commission on corruption cases.
She urged Nigerians who are desirous of a corruption-free society in the country to make good use of the opportunity of the new toll-free line.
