The Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says it is certain of victory on February 25, 2023 the day slated for the country’s Presidential Election.

Mr. Dele Alake, the Special Adviser on Media and Strategic Communications to the APC presidential candidate, stated this at a press briefing to round off the APC Presidential Campaign.

‘We are confident because our candidate, Mr. Bola Tinubu, has stood out from all the other presidential candidates.
‘We are certain of victory because Nigerians will elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
‘He clearly stands apart from the pack and has worked so much to earn the  trophy,’ he claimed.
While analyzing their campaign, Mr. Alake said they focused on issues that affect Nigerians directly.
According to him, they campaigned in all the 36 states including the Federal Capital Territory, adding that they initiated the trend of townhall meeting to campaign before other political parties picked it up.
‘Throughout the electioneering season, we worked hard to keep our commitment to focus on issues that affect the lives of Nigerians.
‘Like our principal, Asiwaju Tinubu, we used every opportunity to sell our agenda for a better Nigeria as encapsulated in our Renewed Hope policy document.
‘We vigorously highlighted the achievements of the current APC-led administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in various sectors,’ he said.
Speaking on opinion polls that have been trending in the media, he said such polls will lead to disappointment and despondency for those depending on them.
He further called on the police and other security agencies to put such pollsters under watch.
‘We have had cause to alert the security agencies to keep these pollsters under watch because their intention is to prepare the ground for unrest,’ Alake said.
