Winners emerge in Abuja edition of GITEX AFRICA competition

Two Nigerian startups, FundusAI LTD and XCHANGEBOX, have emerged winners in the Abuja edition of GITEX AFRICA Startup Roadshow and Stakeholders Briefing held in Abuja’s Nigeria’s capital on Monday  to kick-start the three-city event in Abuja, Lagos and Kaduna.

The two startups are to enjoy fully covered trips to Marrakech, Morocco and tickets to participate in Africa’s most funded startup competition- Supernova Challenge during GITEX AFRICA.

FundusAI Solutions is an AI-powered ecosystem for diabetes care, offering automated diagnosis & personalized health records for diabetic individuals.Its AI-powered platform is designed to enhance the efficiency of retinal examinations, enabling swift and accurate diagnostics.

XCHANGE BOX solutions is a fast-growing technology solution-driven company in financial technology (fintech) with strength in agency banking, enterprise solutions and other ancillary tech-based services.It is a banking platform catering to rural communities, providing access to essential financial services like SME payment collections, bill payments, and insurance.

The Abuja Business Briefing features a panel on collaboration with speakers that include the Executive Vice Chairman,National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).

The Lagos edition holds today, Tuesday 27 while Kaduna is hosting the North West edition Thursday 29.

The event aims to bring together key players, founders, investors, and startup ecosystems from Nigeria under one roof. Additionally, it provides a platform for Nigerian top decision makers and tech startups to explore opportunities for global exposure.
