The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in Adamawa State says it would begin the collation of results of the election held yesterday later in the evening.
The Public Relations Officer of the Commission in the state Mr Dahiru who revealed this, also said results have started filtering in from a few wards where elections have been already concluded in the state but that the results that have come in are not enough for collation of the results to commence fully.
Meanwhile, everywhere is calm and peaceful right now in Yola, the Adamawa state capital and its environs and residents are seen going about their normal activities without any trouble whatsoever.
Even though speculation as to the winners of the election exercise is rife throughout the state, residents however eagerly await the official outcome of the elections as would be later announced by the electoral umpire INEC.
