2023 Hajj: Kaduna Losses Female Intending Pilgrim

Kaduna State Pilgrims Agency has announced the demise of one of her intending pilgrim, Amina Damari with registration number KD 363 from Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Special Assistant to the Executive Secretary of the Agency, Ibrahim Shehu and made available to newsmen in Kaduna.

Prior to Amina’s death, she had arrived at the Hajj Camp in Kaduna as part of the screening process before embarking on the holy pilgrimage. However, it was discovered that she was ill and had arrived at the camp directly from the hospital, evident by the presence of a cannula on her hand.

According to the statement, upon recognizing her condition, the medical team at the Hajj camp directed that Amina be taken to Barau Dikko Hospital for proper medical attention, but unfortunately, during the journey to the hospital, she passed away.

It read that, the Executive Secretary of the Agency, alongside the entire organization extend their deepest condolences to the family and friends of late Amina.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Amina’s family during this difficult time. We pray that Allah forgives her shortcomings and grants her soul eternal peace.”

“This unfortunate incident serves as a solemn reminder to all intending pilgrims to prioritize their health and well-being before embarking on the Hajj pilgrimage. We implore all prospective pilgrims to undergo thorough medical examinations and disclose any existing medical conditions to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage experience.”

“The Agency, once more beseech Allah, the Most Merciful to forgive any shortcomings Amina may have committed and grant her eternal peace in the hereafter. May her soul find solace in the comforting embrace of the Almighty, and may her family find strength in this trying time. Ameeen.”
