He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for the early delivery of all electoral materials.
He, however, said the BVAS, the technology being used by INEC for the election is a little bit slow but believed that it will pick up as there is still more time.
“The election is very peaceful, orderly and all materials are on site on time but the process of accreditation is very slow and I believe it will improve as there is still time,” he said.
“The process, with the new BVAS technology, is better than the previous Elections conducted by INEC,” he said
The governor expressed hope that the peace, large turnout of the electorate and adequate security that had characterised the exercise so far would be sustained to ensure that it ended peacefully.
He commended the security operatives, urging them to ensure it is maintained till the end.
