2023: PDP presidential aspirant vows to tackle Nigeria’s challenges
Aja Chukwumerije, Enugu
The Presidential aspirant on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform, Dr. Nwachukwu Anakwenze, promises to recover Nigerias’ ailing economy by eliminating corruption and developing a reliable security apparatus for all Nigerians if he emerges the President in 2023.
Anakwenze, also the President of the Igbo World Assembly (IWA), made the statement during a town hall/interactive forum in Enugu. He declared his intention to become the next Nigeria President come 2023.
He said he was in the race because all the socio-political organisations in the country had persuaded him to come out to salvage the country. For him, the country’s major problem was a lack of good and selfless leadership.
The Aspirant’s Goals
Anakwenze stated that his administration would create jobs and utilise all the God-given resources for the good of Nigeria while developing a world-standard education and health care system.
He also added that his administration would see agriculture as a key to sustainable growth and development and as a source of food for the teeming population of Nigerians.
The presidential hopeful also confirmed that he would devote 35 percent of the national budget to youth development as they are the greatest assets the nation will ride on to development.
