The National Caretaker Working Committee of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has acknowledged the release of the Notice of Election Timetable by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2027 General Elections.
In a statement, the party’s factional National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Jungudo Haruna Mohammed, reassured members, especially those aspiring to contest elective offices, that all internal disputes and pending litigations are being actively addressed and are expected to be resolved well ahead of the window for party primaries.
The PDP affirmed its readiness to meet all constitutional and regulatory requirements within the stipulated timelines. Aspirants have been urged to remain calm, focused, and guided by directives from the party leadership.
The party also reassured Nigerians of its commitment to providing credible leadership and a clear alternative based on good governance, accountability, national peace and unity, and sustainable development.
Members are encouraged to stay actively engaged, strengthen grassroots mobilization, and uphold the enduring values of the PDP.
The party expressed gratitude for the continued loyalty and dedication of its members and supporters and called for sustained engagement as it positions itself for success in 2027.
