Borno State Governor casts vote, commends electorate

The State Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum has cast his vote at the polling unit in his hometown of Mafa at Ajari 006, Unit B.
The polling Unit has a total 806 total number of registered voters.
He commended the people for coming out en mass to cast their votes and urged them to remain coordinated and peaceful throughout the exercise.
Mafa is the headquarters of the Mafa Local Government Area of Borno, about 35km from Maiduguri.
Voice of Nigeria reports that security personnel are in various polling units to ensure the peaceful conduct of the elections.
