Ahead of the 2023 general elections the incumbent governor of Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Sule, has continued his statewide campaign in Awe Local Government Area, Nasarawa South senatorial zone, North-Central Nigeria.
Gov. Sule appealed to the residents and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to re-elect him and other candidates of the party to enjoy more benefits of democracy.
He said that if re-elected as governor in 2023, he would initiate more projects and programmes that would improve the standard of living of the people of the state.

He appreciated the Awe people for giving his administration maximum support to succeed.
We thank you for the love we have continued to receive in Awe.
“We have come to Awe to tell you that all the work we have done, we have not even started. Anything that you have seen done in Awe, there would be more than that coming to Awe.

“We have come to Awe to tell you that we have kept to our promises. After keeping our promises, we would also make more promises. By the grace of God we will fulfill them.

“We have come to Awe to tell you that we are going to be fair to you because as far as we are concerned this is the home of APC.
“We will do more for you,” he said.
He, therefore, charged them to put their faith in his administration as he would continue to work hard to industrialize Awe Local Government Area and the state at large through the provision of critical infrastructures.
Sule further said that the legal tussle on the outcome of the primary election as it affects the Awe/Tunga constituency is a great source of worry to the party and promised to dialogue with the two parties to find a lasting solution to the dilemma.
“Hudu A. Hudu, is my junior brother while Tanko Tunga is my friend. I cannot be seen to love one and reject the other,” he added.
Various speakers at the occasion spoke extensively on the giant strides of Gov. Abdullahi Sule and their representatives as well as the need to vote for all APC candidates at all levels.
