The Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, has called on the graduates of the Special Operations Forces to remain humble and driven in their quest for success.

General Musa made the statement at the Headquarters, National Mission Force in Bida, Niger State, during the badge ceremony for the Batch 7 graduates.

In his address, General Musa emphasised the importance of upholding the core values and principles instilled during their rigorous training. He highlighted that their training had prepared them to face future challenges, and it is their character that will ultimately define their success in the field.

The Defence Chief also urged the graduates to remain impartial in the line of duty, advising them to always maintain neutrality.

He commended their resilience throughout the program, which he said reflected the professionalism imparted by their trainers. He praised their transformation from trainees to warriors, ready to serve.

“As you move forward, I want you all to remember that your skills are not about combat but also about passion, empathy and understanding towards the people you are meant to protect,” General Musa stated.
