The Chairman of the Women in Business Trade Group of Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Mrs. Chioma Njoku has established an employability and life skills enhancement Centre in Abuja, Nigeria’s

Mrs. Njoku explained that the Centre is a purpose-built facility, with an environment that creates an ambiance for learning, as well as a co-working space for entrepreneurs.

She noted that the academy’s focus is to upskill, reskill and develop the capacity of participants through the different programs offered at the Centre.

According to her, “the students are coached on programs across different sectors that meet the individual specific needs
Some of the programs offered at the Centre as shown in the attached flyers include; healthcare professionals’ programs whereby licensed nurses are tutored for the UK Nurses Computer Based Test (CBT) examinations.

“There is also the Caregivers program for Healthcare Assistants, who are trained as healthcare givers in Care homes for the elderly and private residences.”

“Language courses offered include IELTS training to meet English language Competency requirements, as well as French and German language courses teachings that improve skills and attain certification proficiency levels such as DALF/TEF/TCF
The flyers also show the diverse ICT and tech courses offered at the center that is essential in the digital world and for access to remote working,” she added.
