Al-Mu’minaat Week: Women call on mothers to be more responsible

Women have been enjoined to consciously discharge their primary responsibility of nurturing the children to enhance peace and harmony in the society.
This was brought to the fore during the Al muminat (the believing women), ijebu Remo zone’s Week, which commenced with visitation to media houses and hospital.
With the theme, the Home Pillars, women were referred to as an integral part of the society who plays significant role in the lives of the children.
While speaking at the event, the President of the organisation, Hajiah Faiziyyah Abdu Gafar said that what the whole world has turned into is the fruit of each home.
She urged every woman to build her home to be an environment that brings forth strong personality who are spiritually, morally and physically upright.
So, we the Muslim women should be ready to spend quality time at home with the Children because the children of today forms the society tomorrow. Any imperfection in upbringing and grooming of children will have adverse effect on the society,” she said.
She said the year’s visit to NTA, Ijebu Ode marked the opening of the programme, after which they moved to the radio house of lion fm 93.9 in ijebu imushin.
The chairman of lion fm Mr Abidun Ogidan promised to give Al Muminaat adequate support while commending their role in helping women to improve themselves in the society.
Women were also trained on how to improve their Entrepreneurial skills by thinking more and unlocking their abilities to see things differently.
They were implored to develope and improve their skills at all times.
Having entrepreneurial thinking skills and putting them to good use is not only important for business owner alone  but for everyone pursuing life goals. They tend to think creatively and take ownership of their jobs as well as performance,” she stated.
The organisation also visited the Ogun State Teaching Hospital Olabisi onabanjo University teaching (OOUTH) sagamu.
The management of OOUTH led by Dr Edward jagun ( the acting chief medical director ND) and his team received them with delight as some bed spreads were donated to the management of the hospital.
The programme came to a close with Patroness forum and a seminar for Artisans called Artisan Seminar.
