The Anambra State Commissioner for information, Mr Law Mefor has urged the public to participate in governance by making inputs that will engender people oriented programmes.

In an interview in Awka, Mefor said that seminal inputs from the public remained critical to good governance.

The commissioner urged Anambra people to evolve ideas that could promote good governance, enliven the economy and enhance the wellbeing of the people.

“We should indulge in acts that will enthrone the right political culture, a culture where the citizenry is an integral part of governance.

“As a people, we should endeavour to choose our leaders based on the power of merit and the ability to deliver,” he said.

Mefor further said that Governor Chukwuna Soludo had effectively delivered his campaign promises to Anambra people, saying,” it is our collective duty to support his good works”

He said that the governor’s free education policy was an eloquent testimony of his commitment towards safeguarding the future of the state

“The number of groups and individuals that have come out to endorse the governor is a signal that he has done well.

“The projects are visible for everyone to see, the policy initiatives are there too. The governor has enormous political will to make the right decisions,” Mefor said.
