Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has commissioned the ultra modern Awka stadium built by the State Government.
While commissioning the project, the Governor said that the stadium was funded by the government to serve the sporting needs of the talented youths in the state.
“It is my honour to declare this sports facility open for use this day, 28th December, 2021″
The Governor added that his administration was committed to completing all its signature projects which included the International Conference Center, Airport and City Stadium before existing office in March, 17, 2022.
