Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has appointed Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake as the Secretary to the State Government in his second term, following the dissolution of the previous cabinet.
The announcement was made via a press statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Mr. Christian Aburime.
Chiamaka Nnake, 39, from Nawfia in Njikoka LGA, is a finance and public sector professional with over 13 years of experience. She was the immediate past Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning and chaired Solution Fun City Limited.
She has held leadership roles in various state boards and initiatives, including the Anambra State Investment Promotion Agency and the Internal Revenue Service Board, and serves as Nigeria Chairperson of the HOPE Programme.
Before public service, she was a Senior Strategy Consultant at PwC Nigeria, contributing to Anambra Vision 2070 and other strategic initiatives. She also worked at IHS Towers and Meristem Securities Limited.
Chiamaka holds an MBA from Lagos Business School, a First-Class degree in Accounting from Benson Idahosa University, is an ACCA Fellow, and is pursuing a PhD in Public Policy. She is married with three children.
