Anambra State Inaugurates Newly Formed Beach Soccer Board

The newly formed Beach Soccer Board in Anambra State, has been officially inaugurated. Professor Victor Madubuko plays the role of the chairman while  Right Honourable Chukwudi Orizu, is the vice chairman.

Recently in Awka, the state capital , the board members took their oath of office, administered by the experienced instructor, Dr. Sunday Okai. They were reminded to bring their passion to the forefront as they embark on their roles, ensuring that dedication leads them to success.

Meanwhile, the team includes Honourable Ezeakukwu Emmanuel Nsoedo as the secretary general, Kingsley Nwagba, who will be handling both coaching and technical direction, Okwudili A Emmanuel as the Media Officer, Prisca Ogugua as the Welfare Officer, and Chukwuka Fidelis as Assistant coach.


A representative of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League,Mr. Victor Kadiri, opened the event with a promise of support from the national body. This support is aimed at accelerating the growth of beach soccer not only in Anambra but throughout Nigeria.

Expressing his confidence in the board members,Prof Victor Madubuko, the chairman, stated that they have the best team to achieve remarkable feats. Their primary focus is to develop beach soccer in Anambra State, with special emphasis on schools and female categories. He assured that they are determined to deliver on their promises.

He also emphasized that with this new board in place and their dedication to developing the sport, Anambra State’s beach soccer scene is poised for exciting growth and positive impact on the community.

As part of their comprehensive approach, the Nigeria Beach Soccer League, represented by Dr. Sunday Okai, conducted an extensive seminar on beach soccer. This seminar aimed to educate players, coaches, and referees about the fundamentals of beach soccer and the benefits it offers.
