The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Ganduje, has expressed his approval of the recent Supreme Court ruling, which upheld President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election.

In a statement released by Mr. Edwin Olofu, the Chief Press Secretary to Ganduje, the National Chairman stated that the Supreme Court’s judgment effectively quashes all claims made by opposition parties alleging electoral manipulation in favor of President Tinubu.

Ganduje emphasised that this Supreme Court verdict provides a clear path for President Tinubu to focus on implementing the APC’s “Renewed Hope” mandate for the betterment of Nigerians.

Ganduje urged the presidential candidates of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, to put aside their differences and collaborate with President Tinubu to steer the nation towards sustainable growth and development.

He remarked, “Nigeria belongs to all of us, and it is our patriotic duty to unite our efforts to advance the nation. I commend both Atiku and Obi for their unwavering commitment to expanding our democracy and upholding the rule of law.”

Ganduje also underscored that democracy is at the core of these developments, stating, “Tinubu’s victory is another triumph for democratic governance in our country.

There still  remains an opportunity for both Obi and Atiku to pursue their presidential aspirations after President Tinubu’s second term, set for 2031.”

Ganduje concluded his statement by calling on all Nigerians, regardless of their political affiliations, to come together in support of the President to ensure the delivery of more democratic dividends and to advance the nation towards sustainable progress.
