The All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed the inauguration of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for the party’s 2023 candidate, Bola Tinubu. Stating also that campaigns would begin with a special prayer session and peace walk.
Bayo Onanuga, PCC Director of Media and Publicity, announced it in a statement Sunday night. He confirmed the event was earlier scheduled for Monday but would hold on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
Members nominated to serve in the various directorates will report at the campaign headquarters on the new date.

The PCC members are to participate in the special prayer sessions marking the commencement of the presidential election campaigns.
Also, there will be a peace walk after the prayers, and they will issue all nominees their letters of appointment on the same day.
“We know this is a call to serve the great party that will demand total commitment and sacrifice from all of us.
“It is the council’s strong belief that all members will work hard to deliver a resounding victory for our great party in the 2023 presidential election,” Onanuga stated.
The Media and Publicity Director urged the Council members to be dedicated and committed.
While expressing gratitude to the various support groups working with the Campaign Council, he advised all support groups to carry out proper registration with the council for better harmonisation and effectiveness.
“It is the council’s firm belief that all members will work hard to deliver a resounding victory for our great party in the 2023 Presidential election.
“We also want to use this medium to express our profound gratitude to all support groups registered with the campaign council. We know you have worked assiduously to promote our candidates and the party across the 36 states and FCT.
“The party and the candidates acknowledge your hard work and important financial and human resources that have been expanded voluntarily since we began this journey. We urge you to continue your excellent work. The PCC will work with the support groups as we move along into the campaign season.
“We encourage other groups yet to register formally register with the PCC to do so immediately for proper harmonisation,” he stated.
