APC Primaries: President Tinubu Secures 100% Botes in Gombe

 President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has recorded a clean sweep in the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential primary election in Gombe State, securing 100 per cent of the votes cast.
Official results announced by APC Presidential Primary Collation Officer for the state, Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, collated from all 11 local government areas, showed that President Tinubu polled 450,517 votes, while his opponent, Mr Stanley Osifo, recorded zero.
Governor Yahaya described the primary election as peaceful, transparent and a clear testament to the state’s unwavering loyalty to the President and the party.
As you can see, in my capacity as the APC Presidential Primary Collation Officer and President Bola Tinubu’s coordinator for Gombe State, I have successfully collated the results from all eleven local government areas,” Governor Yahaya said.
He said Gombe State had 550,516 registered APC memberss, emphasising that the outcome sent a powerful message that Gombe remained a solid APC stronghold, fully prepared to deliver the President and all the party’s candidates in the 2027 general election.
The Gombe State Governor praised President Tinubu’s leadership style and developmental record, insisting that the result reflected total grassroots acceptance.
I am speaking not in my capacity as Governor, but as the duly appointed Collation Officer for the APC Presidential Primaries in Gombe State. I will proceed to Abuja to officially submit the results to the party’s national secretariat,” Governor Yahaya added.
The Chairman of the State State APC, Mr. Mohammed Dantata Ndus, called the election historic and a major milestone for the party’s campaign ahead of 2027.
He congratulated all victorious flag-bearers and appealed to those who missed out on tickets to rally behind the party leadership.
Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, led by the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Umar Mukhtar Gajiram, alongside security chiefs, election observers and the media, monitored the collation process.
Also present were the APC governorship candidate, Dr Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna, as well as various senatorial and House of Representatives candidates.
