APC Presidential Primary: President Tinubu Sweeps Kogi

The APC presidential primary returning officer for Kogi State, North Central Nigeria, Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo of Kogi State, has declared incumbent president Bola Tinubu as winner of the APC Presidential primary in Kogi State.

According to the returning officer, President Bola Tinubu scored 197, 370 votes, while his co-contestant, Mr. Stanley Osifo scored zero vote in the APC presidential primary.

Announcing the result of the presidential primary in Lokoja on Saturday, Governor Ododo announced that a total of 166 registered voters participated in the presidential primary while 197, 370 accredited voters were recorded, out of which 197, 370 votes cast.

Governor Ododo described the presidential primary as a free, fair, credible, and transparent electoral process, noting that the conduct of the presidential primary was peaceful across Kogi State.

The APC presidential primary was held in all the electoral wards across Kogi State in a peaceful atmosphere, as the delegates filed out at the ward headquarters of APC to elect president Bola Tinubu as APC Presidential candidate in 2027 Nigeria’s Presidential election scheduled to hold in January, next year.
