Association Chairman urges Civil Servants to improve performance

Civil servants in Nigeria have been called upon to redouble their efforts towards offering best services to the nation.

Chairmen of Association of Heads of Federal Establishment (AHFE) in South East Zone of Nigeria, made the call in Enugu at  her inaugural meeting held at PREDIA Hotels, Ebeano housing estate at the weekend 

The Chairmen who described civil servants as the propeller of all Government activities reminded them that they (civil servants) have a big role to play in helping the federal government to succeed in all it’s Programmes.

The meeting which was hosted by the Chairman of the Association of Heads of Federal Government Establishments in Enugu State, Barr. Emeka Nwokoro, is the first time AHFE in the 5 states of the south east which include Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi,Enugu, and Imo are coming together as one body.

Some of the resolutions at the end of the inaugural meeting include: Increasing engagement with various State Governments to sustain relationship between the States and the federal government.

Increasing awareness for civil servants to increase their output and stepping up efforts towards the establishment of AHFE national body, and Regular engagement at the Zonal level.

The next meeting of the Zonal Body will be hosted by Anambra State Chapter of AHFE in Awka , Come February, 2024.
