Balogun joins QPR on a one-year deal

Super Eagles Defender Leon Balogun has joined English Championship side Queens Park Rangers (QPR).

Balogun enjoyed a profitable time with Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers – winning the Scottish Premier League and the FA Cup during his time there.

But the 34-year old believes his new London sojourn with QPR will be a new era.

“The manager is one of the main factors for me,” Balogun told the club website.

“When he left Rangers I messaged him and said in terms of a football brain he is one of the best I have worked with.”

Balogun hasn’t played since leaving Rangers at the end of last season but he is confident he can get up to speed quickly as he looks to get his career in W12 up and running.
