The Chairman of the Military Pension Board (MPB), Air Vice-Marshal Mikail Abdulraheem, has reiterated the Board’s unwavering commitment to advancing pension reforms that prioritise the dignity, welfare and overall wellbeing of retired military personnel, in line with its mandate to ensure sustainable and humane post-service support for veterans.
Air Vice-Marshal Abdulraheem disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Retired), as part of his ongoing institutional engagement aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Board and key defence stakeholders.

He said: “The visit forms part of our strategic efforts to strengthen institutional collaboration with the Ministry of Defence, reinforce policy alignment and enhance coordination in matters relating to the administration and welfare of military retirees and their next-of-kin.”
He noted that, through this engagement, the Chairman reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to transparency, efficiency and service excellence, while maintaining cooperation with key defence institutions to ensure the sustained delivery of timely and accurate pension services.
