Covid-19: Nigeria confirms 49 new cases

Nigeria has confirmed 49 new cases of Coronavirus also known as Covid-19.

The new figures have pushed up the total number of the confirmed cases to 165,661 with 156,399  Discharged and 2,066 Deaths since the outbreak in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, made this known on  its Official Twitter page, @NCDCgov on Friday, 14th May, 2021.

The breakdown according to the NCDC is as follows;  Enugu-22 Lagos-18 Rivers-6 Akwa Ibom-2 and Edo-1.
